Become a Small Business Champion
The South African Small Business Champion Awards recognizes the tireless journey of small business success and provides business owners recognition for their outstanding achievements.
The awards program acknowledges the hard work, efforts and achievements of the small business community across South Africa
Who may enter?
All service, commercial or industrial companies that manufacture or sell a product or service. Such companies are not allowed to be:
- Members or affiliated members of a listed group on a national or international stock exchange;
- A government or semi-government enterprise, or;
- An enterprise in whom government is a stakeholder
How to enter:
There are two ways in which one can enter this competition:
- Any owner or management of a business who is of the opinion that a business complies to the above requirements is allowed to enter such a business, or
- Any third party who is of the opinion that a business complies to the above requirements is allowed to nominate such a business with the permission of the owner/s or management
Adjudication:
Entry is FREE, and the competition is evaluated in two categories:

National Small Business Champion Award - Annual turnover less than 15 m per annum |
| Category Two: |
National Entrepreneur Champion - Small Business owners that show entrepreneurial excellence |

Wednesday 10th November 2010 @ the 2010 NSBC Annual Dinner & Small Business Champion Awards Evening – Cantare, Montecasino, Fourways, Jo’burg |
