What An Incredible Year It Has Been!

The National Small Business Chamber (NSBC) has continued its fast pace growth rate during 2011 and is on track to once again, exceed all expectations in 2012. Most importantly, we have had the privilege of making a difference to thousands of smaller businesses from all industry sectors from all corners of our country.

In just over two weeks, the holidays will be behind us and the 2012 business season underway. This excites us at the NSBC as we are heading for an absolute cracker of a year.

Besides talking about all the cool and meaningful things we normally do, which we will again cover extensively early in January 2012, let's just touch on what's new and all important for 2012.  Small Business Friday, an NSBC initiative which is going to be the day where Small is BIGGER than ever before. The national frenzy that will be created by the Media will mobilise South Africa to shop small by supporting their local small businesses. It's the ultimate job creation and small business upliftment initiative for South Africa. It's time that South Africa stands up and takes notice. Small Business glues communities together and is the mainstay of our economy. It's now an annual initiative to be hosted on the first Friday of Spring.
